2012 ELS FOR AUTISM GOLF CHALLENGE
Largest charity-driven international golf tournament in history
World Golf Hall of Famer Ernie Els and Lakewood, Colo.-based autism treatment provider Trumpet Behavioral Health are teaming up to fight autism with a series of golf tournaments.
Why We Play – About the Els for Autism Golf Challenge
Golf great Ernie Els started this amateur golf tournament after his son, Ben, was diagnosed with autism more than four years ago. You can help families all over the world with children on the autism spectrum, a disorder that affects one in 88 children and one in 54 boys. Autism is the fastest-growing serious developmental disability in the U.S. More children will be diagnosed with autism this year than with AIDS, diabetes and cancer combined.
