I would like the opportunity for my son 8 yr old Brian A. Rivera to apply. We have not ever got any grants or help ever. He was denied ssi because both parents work and we went alittle over the dollar amount. Would you please give us and Brian the opportunity to apply and hopefully be lucky enough to be given something for free in his life. Thank you Also, be advised my son loves computers.

Please see our recent comment on the iPads from Autism Speaks. We are not directly related to Autism Speaks. Rather we are helping to get the word out. Autism Speaks will be doing drawings in late April. The details are in our last post on this. Thank you! Good luck!!!

I TOTALLY MISSED THIS, BECAUSE OF TOO MANY EMAIL ADDRESSES ON MY PART, IF AN EVENT LIKE THIS EVER HAPPENS AGAIN, CAN I PLEASE GET INFO SENT TO MY JCWOHANA@HOTMAIL.COM ADDRESS? I HAVE NON-VERBAL TWINS THAT HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITHIN THE AUTISM SPECTRUM. THEY CURRENTLY DO NOT HAVE ANY DEVICE TO SPEAK/COMMUNICATE WITH, AND THIS IS SOMETHING THEY EACH COULD USE IN THEIR LIVES. I WOULD LIKE TO HELP THEM APPLY FOR ONE.
THANK YOU.

Is there an opportunity in 2013 to apply for this grant for an Ipad for my ason with Aspergers?

#680 | January 9th, 2013 | cindy

Will there b another oppurtunity to apply in 2013?

#681 | January 10th, 2013 | George Abbott, Marketing Director

Thanks for the question. Since this is a program of Autism Speaks, it is best to check with them. My guess is “yes” they will offer more opportunities through 2013. I also found more information on their website. Hope this helps!
