Autism Individualized Education Program/Plan (IEP) Development for Educators

Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) at Trumpet Behavioral Health work collaboratively with other professionals to develop an Individualized Education Program/Plan (IEP) for students on the autism spectrum. The Individualized Education Program/Plan (IEP) is customized to include goals that are specific, measurable and achievable for students with autism who are displaying behaviors of excess and deficit.

Our board certified autism therapists assess each student to determine the areas where the student engages in behavioral excess (e.g., screaming, tantrums, physical aggression, etc.) or has behavior deficits (e.g., the inability to initiate conversations, turn-taking, communication skills, etc.). The team then determines which goals are most appropriate for inclusion in the student’s plan.
