Parent Behavioral Health Education Programs and Autism Support Services

Trumpet Behavioral Health is proud to be a leader in helping families and healthcare professionals implement positive behavior change techniques for children and adolescents on the autism spectrum. We use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to develop Individualized Education Programs/Plans (IEPs) designed to help families and healthcare professionals work with children struggling with problem behavior.

Through our in-home consultation service, we provide caregivers and healthcare professionals with behavioral recommendations suitable for solving mild to moderate problem behaviors. Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs) will provide caregivers with up to four hours of in-home or community observations and discussions. During this process the BCBA will gather the necessary information to guide the family and healthcare team through problem-solving steps for changing the child’s behavior. A brief written report will detail the recommendations with behavioral protocols when appropriate. This service is the ideal choice when more intensive treatment is not needed.

Trumpet Behavioral Health offers a variety of online e-learning modules on many topics of interest to healthcare professionals and caregivers. No matter your background—near expert or relative newcomer to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)—we strive to make these presentations informative and useful for learners at all skills levels. Our participants frequently discover that they have learned enough from our presentations to solve many common childhood issues on their own.

Topics include:

  • Potty training
  • Managing tantrums
  • Getting kids to stop talking back
