Team Building and Collaboration

Trumpet Behavioral Health Team Building and Healthcare Collaboration Programs

Trumpet Behavioral Health views the relationship with healthcare professionals as a partnership designed to help children and adolescents on the autism spectrum. We use a collaborative approach when working with each member of a child’s Individualized Education Program/Plan (IEP) team, recognizing that an efficient team will be able to provide the best possible services for each child with autism. Trumpet Behavioral Health’s Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs) partner with healthcare professionals to foster a climate of:

  • Child-centered programming
  • Open and clear communication between healthcare professionals, parents and children with autism
  • Mutual respect for each team member
  • Consistency in autism intervention treatment
  • Positive attitudes
  • Flexibility in scheduling for children with autism and their parents
  • Problem-solving
