There are several items in California's budget proposal that will significantly impact the autism community if the budget is adopted. One is to change the Lanterman Act and severely limit Regional Centers' ability to cover co-pays and deductibles, when treatments under current law and prior to autism insurance reform measures did not require any family cost sharing due to the Lanterman Act." read more.
