I began pursing a degree in behavior analysis because of my cousin, who was diagnosed with autism over 15 years ago. During my time at Western Michigan University, I studied the science of behavior and began my practice. I am excited to continue my education and practice by serving others through Trumpet Behavioral Health – Denver!

Education

M.A. in Behavior Analysis, Western Michigan University, 2013
B.A. in Psychology, Ohio University, 2011

Philosophy of Care

I believe that every child can learn and ABA helps each individual reach their full potential. I have seen the impact autism can have on an individual and their family. I have also seen the power of behavior analysis and how a compassionate care provider can make all the difference. Providing individuals with the highest quality care guided by best practice is foundational to my philosophy.

Holly found her passion “working” with individuals with disabilities as a student in elementary school. At a young age she began spending time with students in the special education classroom and also participated in Special Olympics, Buddy Weekends, and after school swim events. It was not until receiving her undergraduate degrees at Colorado State University and trying out a couple of other jobs that Holly realized her calling to be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Upon making this discovery, Holly moved to Texas to earn her master’s degree from the University of North Texas (UNT). During her time at UNT Holly had the pleasure of learning from brilliant minds while working in a clinical setting. Holly has worked with individuals (and their caregiver teams) across the lifespan in homes, schools, day programs, and residential facilities.

Education

M.S. in Behavior Analysis, University of North Texas, 2012
B.A. in Sociology/Criminal Justice, Spanish, Colorado State University, 2005

Philosophy of Care

I work to improve the lives of others. Through my work I am able to help individuals to learn, grow, and expand their potential. I love that I have the opportunity to teach not only those with disabilities, but also their loved ones. It is exciting to see individuals succeed through learning new things and building relationships.

I fell into the field of behavior analysis in high school as a therapeutic nanny for a little boy with autism. Since then I have worked for a variety of agencies, across ages and diagnoses in the role of line and behavior therapist and currently as Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I completed my Master’s degree in ABA at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and through my practicum was introduced to Precision Teaching and research methods. Since moving to Colorado I have honed my skills in reducing severe problem behavior, again across age, diagnosis, and environment. I believe in using the most effective and efficient methods of intervention and celebrating every success with the client and caregivers.

Education

M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis, The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, 2015

Philosophy of Care

I love providing behavior analytic therapy because it works, and it works across across all people, regardless of age or diagnosis. I love that it is a science and every decision I make is based on data. On a more day-to-day level, I truly enjoy supporting the individuals I serve and their families and teaching the ins and outs of what behavior analysis is and how it works.
