I always knew I wanted to work in health care so I pursued Masters degrees in Business and Health Administration in order to support clinical teams providing great service.

After graduating from the University of Michigan, I managed urgent care and occupational health clinics. I joined the Trumpet team in 2015 to provide support to our clinical teams as they deliver excellent service to our consumers and their families.

Philosophy of Care

I am passionate about working with children with developmental disabilities and their families. It is very rewarding to me and it gives me the opportunity to make a difference in their lives. I especially love working closely with parents and teaching them the skills using techniques and the principles of applied behavior analysis, to help their children succeed.

I began working with developmentally delayed children in 1999. I pursued my Bachelor’s degree at California State University, Sacramento. I helped start up a very successful ABA company in Sacramento and have worked in a variety of settings including in-home, schools, corporations, small businesses, conferences and agriculture. My experiences with people on the Autism spectrum and with developmental delays are results driven and attributed to creating and effectively executing bilingual performance management and behavior-based educational programs.

Education

MA in Human Behavior, California State University - Sacramento, 2014
BA in Psychology, California State University - Sacramento, 1999

Philosophy of Care

I am passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children and their families. It’s truly an exciting moment when a child connects to a concept that is pivotal to their learning. Maximizing a learners opportunity for success depends on an integrated team approach and I encourage that synergy. My focus is understanding why people do what they do and facilitating success within themselves and their environment. Working with children, adults, parents, school districts and companies has fostered my skill set in effectively implementing teaching methods of applied behavior analysis.
