A sensory friendly Santa meet and greet

Trumpet Behavioral Health is hosting a merry—not scary—sensory friendly Santa meet and greet. The Trumpet family realizes that the holidays can be stressful for families who have children with autism. To make the holidays fun for everyone, our autism experts are creating a safe environment that allows families to experience the magic of the season—with none of the stress.

Details about the sensory friendly Santa meet and greet

During the sensory friendly Santa meet and greet, your child will have one-on-one time with Santa. We are removing all of the distractions, including waiting in line. When you schedule a time for you and your child to meet Santa, you can feel confident that your child can have a fun and stress-free holiday experience.

The Trumpet family will offer hot chocolate and cookies to help make our centers festive. You’ll also have an opportunity to have your child’s picture taken with Santa, which is sure to become a treasured keepsake. Each center will limit distractions and stimuli in the holiday environment and will also offer a quiet space for children who need it.
